Some stones are created under immense pressure. "Aren't we all," you think, as you step over the uneven ground towards the hole. There's a smell of sulphur in the air, and there are pools of acid green water dotted around. In some places the crust is very thin. In some places you can get very close to what's underneath. In these places the stones are new. Continually born and reborn.
