It's dawn. Everything is suddenly filled with promise. It would not be untruthful to say that you have felt at times that a dawn would never come, that there would never be light again. But now you see it all anew; the world positively sparkles with potential. The big stones you're walking over sparkle too - the sun catches the tiny particles of mica in them. No longer just plain grey slabs of rock. That's a lesson, probably.
